With over 28,000 kilometres of land and water trails, the Trans Canada Trail stretches from coast to coast to coast, so there’s no shortage of spots to see and experience. Spending time outside in nature is a great way to boost your mental and physical health!

As you prepare for your Trail excursion, be sure to think about your health and safety too. Consider bringing a friend (or two!), sunscreen, a map/GPS, clothing that you can layer for warmth, appropriate footwear for the terrain, as well as energy-packed food and water to keep you fueled up! Make a trip plan and share the details with someone else so they’ll know where your route will take you and where you plan to start and finish.
