aînés font une chute<\/span>.1<\/span><\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n Heureusement, pratiquer des activités comme l’entraînement musculaire ou la marche rapide sont d’excellentes façons d’atteindre les 150 minutes recommandées d’activité physique d’intensité moyenne à élevée par semaine. En raison du manque de mobilité, elles ont davantage de risque de se blesser à la suite d’une chute et de voir leur cercle social rétrécir.<\/span><\/p>\n L’activité physique régulière libère des <\/span>endorphines<\/span><\/a> (en anglais) dans le cerveau, ce qui nous fait nous sentir heureux. Adults who achieve more than 7,500 steps per day are considered to have a physically active lifestyle<\/h2>\r\nBetween 5,000 and 7,499 adults\r\nhave a low active lifestyle.\r\n
How are Canadian adults doing?<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\nOnly 16% of adults 18 to 79 years<\/a> are active enough to meet the guidelines and were assigned a \u2018D\u2019 for overall physical activity in the first-ever ParticipACTION Adult Report Card.\r\n
Any movement is good movement<\/h2>\r\nNew evidence supports that any movement during the day is good for you.
